The BIG 2!!!

Payce is now 2!!! We had a great weekend celebrating his birthday. Zach was able to stay home Friday morning, Payce's actual birthday. We had planned on having a traditional birthday pancake breakfast but Payce requested a donut. This is funny because I think he has maybe had a total of 2 donuts his entire life. We made a trip to the Donut Depot not far from home and Payce chose his donut. He was so good at blowing out the candle that we lit it several times. Payce and I spent the rest of the day shopping for his party we had on Saturday. He enjoyed telling people it was his birthday but he would never answer to how old he was. That evening we ordered in Orlando's lasagna and enjoyed some cupcakes. Payce opened a few gifts and began to realize what this birthday thing was all about. He asked for presents the rest of the night. Saturday we prepared for the evening swimming party. We had a great turn out and lots of fun. Payce enjoyed playing in the pool with Zach, family, and friends. As you see in some of the pictures, he was a little serious at times. He gets this way around big groups of people. It was a great party and we are still trying to find room for all the new toys! Thanks to all of you who came and celebrated with us!!
