First things first... Zach has become an incredible handyman! This weekend he completed the repair on an existing water sprinkler system in our front yard. It had not even worked for the previous owners so me being skeptical thought for sure it would take replacing each part to finally work. Not to mention that months ago Zach pulled a huge root out of one of the lines while repairing a cap that had busted. I was so impressed Saturday when I walked outside and saw this...

You're AWESOME!

To those who are keeping count, Payce is 8 weeks! I continue to be amazed of how fast he is growing and changing and the new things he learns each day. As much as we want it to slow, we enjoy seeing his progress. He neck is very strong and he bobbles his head much less now. He is making eye contact and loves watching the ceiling fans. I have noticed him grabbing my shirt, necklace, whatever he can get his little fingers around and grasp in his fist. He carries on a conversation of coos and will respond to us talking to him. The smiles are bigger and more frequent everyday and always make us laugh. He loves when Zach comes home for lunch or at the end of the day as if he noticed him being gone. It is harder to catch his smiles in picture because the camera seems to intrigue him. We almost had rather see and enjoy the smiles than ruin it by bringing the big black camera in view.
