Taylor Made

We have had a few hints of spring weather recently and Saturday we enjoyed some time outside. Zach and I prefer being outside, especially in the spring/summer and we can't wait to encourage Payce to love it too!

This weekend was full of 1st's for Payce:

- he learned to jump in his jumper

-he is now raising his arm and waving his fingers for hi

-he dances by bobbing up and down when sitting

-he took two, two hour naps today (I checked on him every 10 mins after the first 30. He is usually a cat napper and sleeps a max of 45 mins, I was so excited!!!)

-he cackles to get attention and also does it when he is trying to laugh

-his army crawl gets him anywhere he wants to be including the bathroom cabinets, under furniture, and anywhere mommy is

-he pulled up on the couch to a standing position from sitting on the floor

Payce and Tyler have become quite the little pair. If Tyler is anywhere near, Payce has his eyes glued to him watching every move he makes and soaking it all in. Tyler tells me he "loves Payce sooo much" and I see it in his actions. I keep Tyler quite a bit during the week and it is has been fun watching him develop patience with Payce. At first he did not understand why Payce pulled his hair and clawed his face or patted at him with his hands roughly. He now just laughs about it and entertains Payce. He often asks for Payce to play with him or sit in his lap.

Tyler is also my little helper when it comes to baking/cooking. He loves to help in the kitchen, even loads the dishwasher!! We bake often and today we made cup cakes. Here he is enjoying the fruits of his labor...
