November was a busy month with preparations for the holidays and the activities of two energetic boys! Knox turned 3 months on the 2nd and started to become more interactive. He smiles a lot and is beginning to hold his head up more while on his tummy. He has his eye on his big brother at all times. Speaking of big brother, Payce is a great one! If Knox gets fussy, Payce will sing to him and tell him "it's ok, Knox". He likes to help Knox roll over and entertains him with jumps and laughter. Recently, Payce has enjoyed painting with water colors. He is quite the artist and his favorite thing to draw is a snake, yikes!
Mom, Cari, and I participated in the annual Holiday Memories Brunch at our church again this year. We opted out of decorating a table this time, but enjoyed spending time together and with friends. It was a fun start to the season and a good reminder of what this season is all about.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving this year with my family at my grandparents house. It is always a big gathering and there is always more food than we can eat. Besides eating a lot, we enjoyed some relaxing days at home.
Payce and I went with friends to Breakfast With Santa at Holiday Happenings. He enjoyed seeing Mrs. Clause and (from a distance) Santa. It was very crowded and hard to hear the story Mrs. Clause read, but the kids seemed to enjoy it. If you ask Payce about the experience, he will probably tell you about the candy he got in his goodie bag. It was the best part!
