Just checking the date and realizing Payce is 16 months today and the day is almost over! Obviously we have not done much updating lately but as you can see, he is growing and we have been busy. Late September we spent an entire week out of town, some in Austin with Nana and Papa (Zach's parents), and the other time in San Antonio for Zach's work conference. We returned home for the week and left the very next weekend for Zach's grandma's 90th Birthday. The time away was nice as always and we got to visit lots of family and a few of our favorite friends. We worked on Zach's media room two weeks ago and are appreciating more and more the intense labor we were able to withstand for the first year living here. We can't seem to get ANYTHING done these days and especially not without waking the next morning to sore achy muscles! We are loosing our youth fast! Hopefully we will have updates on that room soon. We had a 30th bday party for Zach last weekend and also celebrated another TEXAS WIN! Hook EM'!!! Friday, Nana (my grandma), Tyler, Payce and I went to the Corn Maze in Shallowater. We had fun petting animals, riding the tractor train, and taking pictures in the pumpkins. I love Fall and all that comes with it (except maybe the colder weather).

Updates on Payce:

-Talking TALKING tALkIng... he is a talker and says just about everything we do, even putting two and three words together
-running, really cute to watch those short little legs go :)
-he loves to climb and has mastered climbing on the furniture
-eats very well, still working on the vegetable thing but getting better
-favorite foods are: fruit, bread, cheese, and crackers
-becoming independent and wanting to feed himself with utensils; usually demands a "poon" or fork even if he is eating finger type foods that are not fork-able
-very interested in books, especially ones with flip ups on the page or anything with animals
-loves babies and points out everyone he sees
